ROSS IMPROVED SIMILAC "CLOSER THAN EVER TO MOTHER's MILK" CLAIM UPHELD by the National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureaus, according to a Nov. 13 NAD case report. Abbott's Ross Products division launched Improved Similac with Iron infant formula in the early spring ("The Tan Sheet" May 26, p. 24). The reformulation "contains a new fat blend, is fortified with dietary nucleotides and has a modified whey/casein ratio," the firm claims.
