The company agreed to the changes in an Aug. 14 letter to FDA's Minneapolis, Minn. district office. In the letter, Racine, Wis.-based S.C. Johnson "questions as to whether or not it is permissible to make claims to `provide prompt temporary relief of itchy, sore sensitive skin due to psoriasis' under the tentative skin protectant monograph," but says it will remove the claim from inner and outer package labeling. S.C. Johnson also will submit a Drug Product Listing amendment to the agency.
