An ad also will appear in the September issue of New Product Review. Funding for the campaign totals $200,000. Absorbaid tablets, containing lipase, amylase, protease, cellulase and lactase, has been sold for human use for about two years in health food stores; the product first was sold as a veterinary product under the Prozyme name. A 90-count bottle retails for about $19.99, and 240-count for $49.99. The supplement is said to "help digest every food group more efficiently and effectively," removing "acid and food from the stomach and esophagus quickly, preventing the symptoms of indigestion and heartburn."
