DIETARY SUPPLEMENTS COMPLIANCE WITH USP OFFICIAL COMPENDIA SPECS suggested in July 23 comments from the U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention on the President's Dietary Supplement Label Commission draft report on supplement labeling statements and claims. "In view of the recent changes adopted by the USP, the commission may wish to incorporate into its report under its recommendations relative to safety, that manufacturers and marketers prepare dietary supplements that comply with official compendia requirements where such exist," USP states.
