Folate intake: Aug. 6 public meeting will focus on folate's role in the prevention of neural tube birth defects and "encourage and provide guidance to attendees" in the "dissemination of a public health message about adequate folate intake" for women of child-bearing age, according to a notice published in the July 9 Federal Register.
