P&U is dedicating an additional $5 mil. in advertising and promotion to the relaunch of OTC Nasalcrom nasal spray, an increase of 25%, for a total of more than $25 mil. in advertising/promotional support, the company says in retail trade materials cromolyn sodium nasal solution. The allergy symptoms prevention/treatment franchise was acquired by Pharmacia & Upjohn, along with the PediaCare children's cough/cold and flu and Micatin topical antifungal OTC brands, in a recent trade with McNeil Consumer Products ("The Tan Sheet" June 9, p. 1).
