Executive Summary
Dietary supplement GMPs: Nutritional Health Alliance requests 90-day extension of comment period for FDA's advanced notice of proposed rulemaking on supplement GMPs. Comments on the ANPR, which presents an industry-proposed approach, currently are due May 7 (The Tan Sheet" Feb. 10, p. 2). NHA said it needs the additional time because it did not participate in a Nov. 30 meeting between FDA and industry representatives on GMPs, "nor did it have an opportunity to participate in the drafting" of the document in the ANPR.
