PTO FULL ACCESS TO FY 1998 USER FEE REVENUES PROPOSED BY ADMINISTRATION, according to a March 11 letter from Commerce Secretary William Daley to House Judiciary Chairman Henry Hyde (R-Ill.) outlining the Clinton Administration's views on a Patent & Trademark Office reform bill (HR 400). The House Judiciary Committee approved a substitute amendment to HR 400 by voice vote at a March 12 mark-up. The bill was sponsored by Rep. Howard Coble (R-N.C.).
