COLGATE LATIN AMERICA, ASIA/PACIFIC REGIONS TO BE HEADED BY EXEC VP METZLER under a reorganization plan announced by the company Jan. 14. Under the new structure, Colgate-Palmolive is designating "high growth" and "developed market" regions "to reflect Colgate's excellent prospects for growth in both the developing and the developed worlds." David Metzler will serve as exec VP and chief of operations for Colgate's "high growth" regions, which include Africa and Eastern Europe in addition to the Latin America and Asia/Pacific regions. The Developed Markets segment (North America and Europe) will be headed by Exec VP and Chief of Operations Lois Juliber.
