WHITEHALL JUNIOR STRENGTH ADVIL TABLETS APPROVED DEC. 13 "for the temporary reduction of fever and relief of minor aches and pains due to colds, flu, sore throat, headaches and toothaches" in children between the ages of six and 11, FDA's approval letter to American Home Products states. The company plans to begin marketing Junior Strength Advil tablets (ibuprofen 100 mg) in the "near future."
