NIH OFFICE OF DIETARY SUPPLEMENTS AWARDS SIX RESEARCH GRANTS TOTALING $270,000 in the fledgling office's first research funding effort. Established under the Dietary Supplement Health & Education Act of 1994, the office is dedicating nearly 30% of its fiscal 1996 program to the six grants, ODR stated Dec. 17. The awards are being generated through the National Institutes of Health Research Enhancement Awards Program (REAP).
