NBTY SALES GROW 8.8% TO $194.4 MIL. IN 12 MONTHS ended Sept. 30, the company reported Nov. 7. Revenues from continuing operations were up 14% and exclude the Beautiful Visions mail-order cosmetic and beauty supply catalog business sold by NBTY in October 1995, the Bohemia, N.Y.-based vitamin and nutritional supplement manufacturer and marketer reported. Fiscal 1996 net income more than doubled to $13.4 mil. from $5.1 mil.
