PLACEBO CONCEPT MISDEFINED/UNDEFINED BY OVER HALF OF STUDY POPULATION in a 440-subject, multi-site mall-intercept study on OTC label comprehension coordinated by Indianapolis, Ind.-based Walker Information. "Only 45.9%" of consumers interviewed "could correctly define the term `placebo,'" Walker Information VP-Business Development Susan Shellabarger reported at an Oct. 28-29 meeting of the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society in Washington, D.C. The study will appear in a future issue of the Drug Information Association's Drug Information Journal.
