J&J payment of Confide royalties, damages satisfies Millenson contract, attorney says.

This article was originally published in The Tan Sheet

Executive Summary

J&J'S $60 MIL. CONFIDE INVESTMENT OVER PAST 2-1/2 YEARS should not be awarded to former Direct Access Diagnostics President Elliot Millenson, a Johnson & Johnson attorney contended at an Oct. 16 hearing before Judge Wilfred Diana at the Superior Court of New Jersey in Somerville. J&J attorney Edward Zunz argued that the court should reverse an arbitrator's July 25 ruling that gave Millenson the existing J&J Direct Access Diagnostics business, which sells the Confide home HIV testing service and "which represented some $60 mil. of investment by the company."
