"SERIOUS" ADVERSE REACTIONS REPORTED FOR EPHEDRINE SUPPLEMENTS IN 1-5 MG RANGE, FDA Office of Special Nutritionals Clinical Research and Review Staff Director Lori Love, MD/PhD, told the Food Advisory Committee at its Aug. 27-28 meeting in Washington, D.C. The low-dose adverse events were found in an analysis of approximately 603 adverse event reports on ephedra-containing products collected by FDA, Love explained.
