Ephedrine adverse reactions in Massachusetts: Of the 35 calls received by the ephedrine hotline since its inception on Aug. 2, nine involved incidents that required medical attention, the Mass. health department's Drug Control Program tells the Public Health Council at a recent meeting. The remainder of the calls were inquiries about ephedrine.
