CODEX INFANT FORMULA REVISION DEFERRAL TO BE URGED BY U.S. DELEGATES until the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) completes its review of infant formula nutrient requirements, Robert Moore, PhD, Center for Food Safety & Applied Nutrition senior regulatory scientist, told food and supplement industry representatives at an August 16 briefing held in Washington, D.C. Infant formula standards and other nutrition-related topics are slated to be discussed at the upcoming Oct. 7-11 meeting of the Codex Committee on Nutrition and Food for Special Dietary Uses in Bonn-Bad Godesberg, Germany.
