LINK BETWEEN LOW MELATONIN AND INSOMNIA INCIDENCE NOT EVIDENT IN EARLY RESULTS of an ongoing five-year study being conducted by Daniel Kripke, MD, University of California at San Diego. At an Aug. 12-13 workshop on "Melatonin and Sleep" held at the National Institutes of Health's Bethesda campus, Kripke presented data on melatonin levels in 42 subjects between the ages of 60 and 79 who had been diagnosed with insomnia.
