CONSUMER HEALTH "INFORMATICS" DATA QUALITY AMONG "SIGNIFICANT ISSUES" that must be addressed if these high tech com-munication systems are to provide a public health benefit, the General Accounting Office suggests in a report issued July 26. In discussing consumer informatics with numerous experts, GAO reported that "information quality was raised...as a very significant issue."
