DSHEA DOES NOT THREATEN FDA AUTHORITY OVER SUPPLEMENTS, CRN Director of Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Director Annette Dickinson, PhD, told the Commission on Risk Assessment and Risk Management at a public hearing in Boston July 23. Responding to a June 13 draft report by the commission, the Council for Responsible Nutrition representative maintained that the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act "does not represent a threat to FDA's appropriate authority over the safety and labeling of dietary supplements."
