Home Shopping Network: Television network and subsidiaries Home Shopping Club and HSN Lifeway Health Products settle March 1995 FTC charges by signing an agreement to "secure scientific evidence to back up claims that any food, supplement or drug can treat a disease or affect a function of the body" or "before claiming that any stop-smoking product or program works for consumers," FTC announces July 11.
