WHITEHALL CHILDREN'S ADVIL NEARING FDA APPROVAL following an April 25 notification that the OTC ibuprofen 100 mg per 5 ml oral suspension is "approvable." Once approved and launched, Children's Advil will challenge the dominance in the children's analgesic/antipyretic category currently enjoyed by J&J's McNeil Consumer Products division. McNeil markets both the Children's Tylenol and Children's Motrin lines.
