SAFETY AND CONVENIENCE OF OTCs RECEIVE HIGH MARKS FROM CONSUMERS in the first mailing of a consumer confidence tracking study conducted on behalf of the Nonprescription Drug Manufacturers Association. Speaking at NDMA's annual meeting in Colorado Springs on May 19, Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Director-Marketing, Research and Planning Mark Sanderson reported that 91% of 250 participating consumers agreed that "OTCs are safe" and 94% agreed that OTC drugs are "convenient to buy."
