NOVARTIS U.S. SELF-MEDICATION BUSINESS TO BE HEADED BY FRED HUSER, current president of Sandoz' U.S. consumer pharmaceuticals business, Ciba-Geigy announced May 7. Huser will report to Novartis worldwide self-medication head Roland Jeannet, who currently leads Ciba's worldwide OTC division. The companies, which announced their intention to merge in early March ("The Tan Sheet" March 11, p. 1), plan to announce VP-level positions in the new structure in June.
