BRISTOL-MYERS' EXCEDRIN RECALL of two lots, or about 100,000 bottles, of Aspirin-Free Excedrin Extra Strength Geltabs was initiated after the firm discovered that some of the bottles mistakenly contained NoDoz caplets. The switch was the result of a packaging snafu at the firm's Morrisville, N.C. facility; the Excedrin products packaged followed a NoDoz caplets on the same manufacturing line.
