NICORETTE TV ADVERTISING KICKS OFF with a campaign created for SmithKline Beecham by New York-based Jordan, McGrath, Case & Taylor that consists of five 30-second spots, each a "portrait" of a quitter who uses the nicotine replacement therapy gum. Nicorette gum was approved for over-the-counter marketing Feb. 9 ("The Tan Sheet" Feb. 12, p. 4), and is on store shelves now.
