ALLERGAN CONTACT LENS CARE SALES RISE 8% IN FIRST QUARTER to $91.5 mil., primarily because of the contribution from recently-acquired Pilkington Barnes Hind, the company reported April 17. Excluding $10.1 mil. in sales that came from Pilkington Barnes Hind, Allergan's optical sales fell 4% in the three-month period.
