Whitehall publicizing Benedi letter on Tylenol alcohol warnings in newspaper spreads.

This article was originally published in The Tan Sheet

Executive Summary

WHITEHALL PUBLICIZING BENEDI "OPEN LETTER" ON TYLENOL ALCOHOL WARNINGS in a full-page spread in the March 20 issue of The New York Times and in March 21 and 22 issues of other newspapers in major markets nationwide. The spread, which also will run the week of March 25, consists of an open letter by Antonio Benedi, the winner of a much-publicized Tylenol injury lawsuit, asserting that McNeil does not provide adequate warnings on Tylenol of the risk of liver damage in regular consumers of alcohol who take the product.
