WHITEHALL, J&J/MERCK PARTICIPATE IN ALABAMA BLUES' "OTC AFFINITY" PROJECT designed to encourage self care among the plans' beneficiaries, George Hiller, pharmacy director of Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Alabama, noted at a Jan. 24-26 conference on OTC products and managed care sponsored by Global Business Research in Orlando, Fla. Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Alabama kicked-off its "OTC affinity" program in October for enrollees in a Medicare supplement program, Hiller noted.
