SHAKLEE FACILITY FOR NUTRITIONAL, PHARMACEUTICAL DELIVERY RESEARCH is expected to open by late spring of 1997, the firm announced Jan. 29. Construction of the "multi-million dollar" facility will begin in April. Located in the Stanford Research Park in Palo Alto, Calif., the six-acre campus will include two buildings and initially house 40 employees. About 75,000 sq. ft. will be used for R&D, pilot laboratories and offices.
