GPIA/NAPM merger: The Generic Pharmaceutical Association and the National Association of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers will merge in the first quarter of 1996, the groups announce Dec. 21. The new organization will reside at GPIA's Washington, D.C. offices and will be governed by a board of directors composed of reps from all member firms, which will meet quarterly. In addition, a sitting policy committee of association officers and six sitting members will meet eight times yearly.
