Executive Summary
FDA SETS RDIs FOR SIX NUTRIENTS, INCLUDING SELENIUM, CHROMIUM, vitamin K, molybdenum, chloride and manganese in a final rule published in the Dec. 28 Federal Register. In a proposed rule published in January 1994, the agency considered reference daily intakes for seven nutrients -- the six listed above and fluoride ("The Tan Sheet" Jan. 3, 1994, pp. 3-4).
