NNFA ESTABLISHING SCIENTIFIC ADVISORY COUNCIL to assist the association in "proactive" efforts on the scientific front. Among the issues likely to be addressed by the group is the validity of statements of nutritional support for dietary supplements made under the Dietary Supplement Health & Education Act. The National Nutritional Foods Association has invited four experts to serve on the council. Formation of the group was announced by NNFA Executive Director Michael Ford at the association's annual trade show and conference in Las Vegas on July 14-17.
