Pfizer: Officially opens new $20 mil. national distribution facility in Memphis, Tenn. on June 9. The center, which began limited operations in February, currently has 85 employees with 40 more expected to be hired later this year, Pfizer said. Also this year, the center will begin distributing Howmedica orthopedic devices. The 260,000 sq. ft. distribution center can be expanded by another 170,000 sq. ft., the company noted. Pfizer expects the plant to eventually handle about $100 mil. in products a week, including pharmaceuticals, devices and consumer health products...
