Executive Summary
NDAC members: FDA invites Eric Brass, MD/PhD, UCLA Medical Center; Patricia McGrath, PhD, Child Health Research Institute, Ontario; Ralph D'Agostino, PhD, Boston University; and Lynn McKinley-Grant, MD, Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Hospital, Washington, D.C. to become members of its Nonprescription Drugs Advisory Committee. Brass, McGrath and D'Agostino participated as consultants at the last NDAC meeting ("The Tan Sheet" April 3, p. 13). Separately, FDA has scrapped a July 12 meeting of NDAC with the Endocrinologic & Metabolic Drugs Advisory Committee ("The Tan Sheet" April 17, p. 5). NDAC is still slated to meet with the Gastrointestinal Drugs and Arthritis committees July 13 and 14, respectively...
