Executive Summary
ADVISORY COMMITTEE Rx-TO-OTC SWITCH SPONSOR PRESENTATIONS should resemble scientific society presentations, Nonprescription Drugs Advisory Committee member Marcus Reidenberg, MD, suggested at a Feb. 17 Institute for International Research meeting on Rx-to-OTC switches in New York City. When appearing before the advisory committee, industry representatives should "give thoughtful, scientific presentations" as if they are "presenting it at a scientific society meeting, such as the American Heart [Association]," Reidenberg advised.
