PEER REVIEW OF RISK ASSESSMENTS WOULD BE REQUIRED FOR "MAJOR" RULES under Title III of the "Job Creation and Wage Enhan-cement Act," (HR 9) as part of a broad effort by House Republicans to decentralize and reduce the power of the federal government and increase the accountability of federal officials. Part of the House Republican "Contract With America," the measure was introduced Jan. 4 by Rep. Bill Archer (R-Tex.).
