Executive Summary
Institute of Medicine's Food & Nutrition Board convened a closed meeting Dec. 8-9 to discuss revision of the Recommended Dietary Allowances. FNB, which planned to establish a timetable for the revision process at the session ("The Tan Sheet" Oct. 31, p. 10), said a smaller meeting will take place by the end of March to establish a specific framework around which the RDAs can be revised. FNB also decided that it would approach professional groups for nominees to serve on the RDA revision committees
