INTER-AGENCY MEETING TO REVIEW ALCOHOL-CONTAINING MOUTHWASHES' LINK TO CANCER recommended by FDA's Dental Products Panel on Dec. 6. The panel voted unanimously to recommend to FDA that representatives from the National Cancer Institute, the National Institute of Dental Research, FDA and industry meet with the Dental Products Panel's OTC Plaque Products Subcommittee to discuss the relationship between alcohol-containing mouthwashes and oral cancer and the possible need for additional studies.
