Reaches agreement with Becton Dickinson on Oct. 19 to acquire full marketing rights of the Q-Test consumer ovulation and pregnancy tests. Prior to the agreement, Quidel manufactured the Q-Test consumer fertility products for marketing by Becton Dickinson. Quidel markets the Conceive line of fertility products and the RapidVue pregnancy test. In return for marketing rights of the Q- Test fertility line, Quidel will relinquish its manufacturing rights to Becton Dickinson for the Q-Test Strep A test.
