Appoints Roger Berlin, MD, to senior VP-scientific affairs. As head of the scientific division of the American Home Products subsidiary, Berlin will be responsible for analytical and clinical research in the area of nonprescription drugs and will oversee all regulatory and medical affairs. Prior to the appointment, Berlin worked for Merck as executive director for clinical research. Berlin succeeds Barry Dash, who moves to the new position of senior VP-advanced technologies
