OTC ANALGESIC DENTAL EXTRACTION STUDY RESULTS CAN BE GENERALIZED to other pain areas, Stephen Cooper, DMD/PhD, Temple University School of Dentistry, Philadelphia, said Sept. 8 in his presentation to the analgesic indications subcommittee of the Nonprescription Drugs and Arthritis Advisory Committees. With "good clinical judgment and common sense," Cooper noted one advantage of the dental extraction is that it "can be generalized to many other pain areas."
