Introduces its first two OTC ophthalmic products -- Redness Reliever Lubricant and Tears Formula Lubricant -- based on the company's egg-shaped eyedrop dispenser system. Stores in Florida were stocked with the two products by Sept. 15; a nationwide rollout date has not been set. Both products are being manufactured in Tampa by Bausch & Lomb. Carrafiello Diehl & Associates is handling advertising. Based in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., the start-up company was founded in 1991 and began operations last month. The company is headed by Chairman, President and CEO Edmund Vimond, who was previously president of Warner-Lambert Consumer Products Division and president and CEO of R. J. Reynolds
