VITAMIN A/BETA CAROTENE SUPPLEMENTS GROW 34% IN SECOND QUARTER dollar sales in food and drug stores, according to a recent report on health and beauty aid trends from Information Resources, Inc. subsidiary Towne-Oller. Sales for vitamin A/ beta carotene products in the second quarter totaled $6.3 mil. and the products remained among the top 10 growing categories in terms of dollar sales in food and drug stores combined, the report shows.
