FDA's Center for Food Safety & Applied Nutrition amends the regulations for delegations of authority at the center in the wake of CFSAN's reorganization in November 1992, according to an Aug. 18 Federal Register notice. The reorganization created a deputy director, retitled some organizational units and transferred responsibilities to newly created organizational units; all these changes require revisions in the related delegations of authority, FDA explained
