REQUA "AMENDED" FORMULA CHARCOCAPS WILL BE AVAILABLE in two to three months for shipments to retailers, the company said. Requa noted that it is in the process of changing the formulation of its CharcoCaps product to comply with FDA's final monograph for OTC digestive aids, which became effective April 21. The monograph does not recognize any active ingredients as Category I (safe and effective) digestive aids ("The Tan Sheet" Oct. 25, 1993, p. 15).
