Executive Summary
FDA Federal Register notice on March 31 corrects the effective dates published in the final rules on dietary supplement health claims and nutrient content claims, which were both published on Jan. 4. The effective date of the health claims rule, as reported earlier in "The Tan Sheet" (April 4, In Brief), is July 1, 1994. The effective date of the final rule for nutrient content claims is July 1, 1995. Dietary supplement products continue to have until July 1, 1995 to comply with the nutrition labeling requirements under a final rule published on Jan. 4
