Executive Summary
NDMA files citizen's petition requesting public notice that officially informs the EPA and local agencies that regulatory enforcement authority for OTC pediculicides has been transferred to FDA via the pediculicide final monograph published December 1993. NDMA also asks that there be a grace period of several months before the effective date of the notice in order to allow manufacturers to begin labeling pediculicide products in compliance with FDA's final rule while still being regulated by EPA. NDMA requested a feedback meeting with FDA and members of EPA to discuss the matter
