Council for Responsible Nutrition met with officials at FDA's Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition on Feb. 14 to discuss the possibility of submitting a petition asking for changes in the format of dietary supplement labels, including a possible change in type size to make labels more readable. CRN, which expressed concerns about the supplement label format in recent comments to the agency ("The Tan Sheet" Dec. 20, 1993, p. 13), emphasized that it has not yet decided whether it will submit a petition
