FDA HEALTH CLAIMS FINAL RULE DOES NOT REGULATE ADVERTISING, books or magazines for dietary supplements, the agency clarified in its final regulation for supplement health claims under the Nutrition Labeling & Education Act. In response to a comment on the June 18 proposed rule ("The Tan Sheet" June 21, p. 4), FDA advised that "the provisions of this regulation pertain only to a product's label."
